We have stayed here several times and I’ve always had a great experience. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I like that it has a restaurant on site.

Always the best place to stay, I'd say in the country, certainly the state
I showed up at 4:30am as the hotel I had rented in Santa Fe was a huge disappointment, but new I could count on this place to give me a good nights rest with a friendly smile.
I must say I was not at all disappointed as I rang the bell and Kris assisted me with finding a room quickly at a great price all the while being very professional and curtious.
I had asked if there was any way to sleep in little as it was already 4:30 and explained my situation and without hesitation said "yes of course" how would noon work for you. I smiled and said thank you you and we went our seperate way.
Folks in this hotel have always been great and the room are set to a very high standard, only wished that was true in all all cities in the country. Thank you for a great experience.

Best Western Plus Raton Hotel
Stopped here on the way home from Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. What a wonderful hotel! Newly remodeled; fabulous pool at one end of the lobby; water warm, accessible from indoor doors into rooms, but quiet at night. Nice restaurant and separate bar/lounge areas, lovely gift shop, breakfast buffet included has full menu and Southwestern items, also good coffee. Rooms are large, luxurious, clean, good in room coffee. Door from room to parking lot made it easy to bring in luggage but could enter the hotel facilities from the inside door; great in the winter. Wonderful decor and rock sculptures in the lobby; a lovely hotel with gracious service.

We travel between Colorado and Texas a lot. We cut the drive in to two days and spend the night somewhere in the middle. This is the first time to stop for the night in Raton. This will be our regular stop from now on as we loved the motel. Restaurant on site. Food was good. Dog friendly.

I just stayed for a sleepover on a road trip, but it was very nice and the people were very friendly.
