Terrible hotel
We had been driving for hours was tired and just wanted a shower and sleep. My granddaughter went to get in shower and came right back out, screaming their was roaches in the tub, I turned all the lights on and they were everywhere, we grabbed our belongings, and walked out. We were seriously in the room maybe 10 minutes. Went to the office asked for a refund told them about the bugs. She went to the room and asked if I would like a different room. I stated no. She said well there is a towel on the floor and blanket pulled back on bed so we had USED the room. And only gave me 40% of my money back. At this point we just wanted out of there. Very nasty dirty place with nasty owners.

Horrible
We made the mistake of stopping here without looking at any reviews. I’ve never stayed in a hotel nearly as dirty as this. We were just here to sleep so we wanted something cheap. But this is ridiculous. I feel like I need to pay for another room to shower and recover from this filth.

Convenient for one night
We were traveling from Texas to Wisconsin. Rolla, Mo is a convenient place to stop. Typical college city. Lots of restaurants and motels. Sunset Inn is clean and recently remodeled. Lower priced. No breakfast. McDonalds across the street.

Don't
Had a room on East side of motel and the paper thin curtains did nothing for us at sunrise. The mattress squeaked loudly and it took 20 minutes to get hot water for the shower. AC didn't work in the first room, had to switch rooms and it smelled of bug spray and it had a musky stench. Didn't see any bugs and there seemed to be an attempt at cleanliness.

Most awful place ever
Don't go there. I felt that I wanted a bath in bleach afterwards. Towels did not appear clean at all. Awful smell in room. Dead bugs on the floor. Flies in the room. Room not clean at all. Will never do that again
