Nice hotel near the airport

This is my second time staying here when catching an early morning flight home. It’s literally a less than 10 minute drive to Sacramento airport. They even offer a shuttle to the airport as an option. As expected, the room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy enough, but keep in mind the later you show up, the harder it may be to find a spot. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops, but they do have a restaurant and bar available in the hotel itself. The service at the front desk was outstanding thanks to Kenroy who was both friendly and extremely helpful. He truly is an example of excellent customer service and hospitality. I always seem to catch early flights out of Sacramento, so if I find myself in the same situation, this hotel would be my choice.

Stinky food left in fridge by previous occupants was NOT removed when housekeeping “cleaned “ the room

Got the same incompetent woman who is dead slow at her job checking us in this time that we had last time. Should have waited for the other, more competent, lady who checked in two other people in the time our lady took to just check us in. Got to the room and it stunk inside the room like spoiled Chinese take out food. Tracked the smell to the fridge where I found two containers of stinky food still in the fridge that should have been removed by housekeeping when cleaning the room after previous occupant left - makes one wonder what else wasn’t properly cleaned. Let front desk know about the food/stench and was told it would be taken care of while my wife and I left to go to a restaurant several blocks away. Upon returning to hotel after being gone over an hour we stopped at front desk to ask (the good competent receptionist) if problem was taken care of. She pulled out a walky-talky and asked maintenance if the fridge in our room had been replaced and I heard the guy clearly answer “Yes”. Went to our room, could still smell the stench, opened the fridge and there, STILL in the fridge, were the same two food containers!!! Went back downstairs to the front desk and told them the food containers were still in the fridge. I asked for a different room expressing that I don’t trust that anything else in the room was properly cleaned. I made this reservation over a month in advance and the room they initially gave me that had the stinky food in the fridge was a handicapped accessible room (we are not handicapped) that was also right next to the noisy ice machine and elevators. The new room they finally moved me to was further down the hall away from the ice machine elevators and was a normal (non handicapped) room. I believe I will be trying one of the many other park & fly hotels on that street the next time I fly out of Sacramento International Airport.

Great business trip hotel!

Shelia at the front desk was excellent, friendly, welcoming and thorough. All staff friendly and helpful. Very nice room and fantastic breakfast. Quiet. I will use the pool and hot tub next time! Great business hotel. Only a short Uber/Lyft ride to airport.

Great Place

If you need to be in this part of Sacramento. This hotel is great. It’s clean, staff are great, especially Maria in housekeeping, Shiela at the front desk and Matt in member services. The food is decent and there are nice walks close by along American River.

Everything was fine with the exception of the noisy a/c unit, which had a loud blower that should be serviced.
We checked in late so did not want bring attention to it.
