beautiful lobby, pretty out dated bathroom and room, but if that's the vibe because it's an antique hotel then I get it.

The hotel has a great location, and walkable to the beach.
The staff is great, we had problems with TV and maintainance fixed in a timely manner.

Great spot. Restaurants and shops right outside your door. Easy to jump on the freeway. Our room was clean and quiet with robes and slippers provided. Valet parking was included and that was a great perk. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Montecito Inn in the Tower Suite. The room was unique and charming, with two levels that made it feel more like a little apartment than a standard hotel room.
The bedroom and bathroom are on different levels, so you do have to go up and down stairs, but if that is not an issue for you, it actually adds to the character and fun of the space.
The location was great, the accommodations were comfortable, and we would happily stay there again.

Nope

From the rude young man who took my reservation by phone to the non-functioning showerhead that failed to work as we were rushing to a wedding function, this hotel was subpar in every single way. A phone call to move rooms or have the shower fixed took an hour for a response. The room was dark and dingy, the handles on the sinks and the drains on the sinks malfunctioned and our overall dissatisfaction is hard to even put into words. If you want to enjoy your visit to the Santa Barbara area, do NOT stay at this hotel.
