Everything was great, the pool area had alot of kids which is all good but if not your thing it is not quiet and relaxing .

All I was looking for at the Hotel LBI was a bed to sleep in for the night and a shower in the morning before leaving. I checked in at 4PM (Room 182) and immediately left the hotel to attend a function at another location. I returned at 1 AM, went to bed and got up at 9AM in the morning to take my shower before leaving. Alas, no shower!! I turned on the water in the tub and adjusted it for the right temperature. I then turned the handle to divert the water to the shower head. Nothing!! Water was never diverted to the shower head!! I tried a number of times to no avail! Needless to say, for the amount of money I paid for that room, I am not a happy camper! When checking out they said why didn't I call and we could have sent someone from maintenance. Like I'm supposd to sit and wait around in a bath towel and wait for God knows how long for someone to come and then (possibly) fix the problem! Hopefully the checkout staff reported the problem so that the next occupant(s) were not faced with the same issue!
In fact, was the problem reported by the resident prior to my visit?

My wife and I took our son to the hotel as our first vacation ever with him. The staff, especially the valets were AMAZING. The entire staff was great and we had a great time. Next summer is a 100% stay in our book.

Second time staying there. The rooms are like apartments. Great rooftop bar. Drinks and food excellent. All staff members very friendly. Definitely be back again!!!
