The Marriott Courtyard on State Road in St. Augustine was a very good choice. The room was spacious, clean and quiet.
The Staff were friendly and very professional.
We will stay here again.

Comfortable stay, clean room, and close to the highway with a quick drive into the historic area. However our room never received housekeeping the entire time we were there for a 3 night 4 day stay.

I just stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Saint Augustine Thursday night June 25th and Friday night the 26th.
I have stayed at a plethora of Courtyard Marriott hotels over the last 20 years.
Unequivocally, this was by far & away the worst!
Thursday night the 25th: I specifically requested a room that was NOT by the elevator and ice machine.
Much to my dismay, when I saw that Room 325 was literally near both the elevator & ice machine, I was incredulous.
It was the first of many red flags which were to come.
All night long, I heard beeping sound of the elevator into the following morning.
I lost an entire night's sleep because of this.
When I requested to be moved the following day to a different room, I was met with defiance and a piss-poor attitude by the manager on duty Jamie.
Friday the 26th: I was relocated to Room 338.
There were some dead bugs and mosquitoes throughout the room.
As I was about to take a shower, I noticed something so disgusting and repulsive.
There were long hairs all over both the shampoo and body wash dispensers!

This was beyond appalling, gruesome, and horrendous.
My experience was so atrocious, disgusting, and repulsive that I had to check out of the hotel this morning at 9 a.m. to find another place to stay. That has NEVER happened in my entire life!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURTYARD MARRIOTT IN SAINT AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA!

Very Nice Hotel

I stayed here for one night and chose this place because it was fairly close to St George St and the price was very reasonable. The hotel is very clean and modern, this includes the lobby and my room. It is tucked behind a Bojangles and next to an apartment complex. The Tanger Outlet is minutes away and there are quite a few eateries minutes away. It would've been nice if the breakfast was free but that's okay. There is plenty of parking and the area felt safe for a solo female traveler. I would stay here again if ever in the area.
