Loved every second of our stay. They text me room was ready before check in!! Greeted by I believe Christopher. Who took
My luggage up the stairs to my beautiful room. I told him it was a birthday getaway for my boyfriend who was meeting me. Never felt more at home. Hospitality A+ That evening we went out got back to a card with a little box of chocolate covered strawberries from the Old Colorado Inn with a birthday hand written card. Nice beautiful comfy bed. Kitchen area living area and bedroom! Clean, cozy lots of windows ! Can’t wait to go back. Nothing like this family owned business!!

Fantastic find!
What a lovely experience we had! Family-owned historic hotel with wonderful amenities! The room was very comfortable and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. It’s located in downtown Stuart and is in walking distance to shops and restaurants, and also walking distance to the boardwalk on the water. We will definitely go back for another “staycation”! Great find!

Great Lodging in the Heart of Everything!
Tucked Into the heart of Historic Downtown Stuart, the Old Colorado Inn is convenient walking distance to the many shops and restaurants. On property private parking (no extra charge) is a real plus. The atmosphere is as pictured, full of character and oozing with old school charm. Our room, Suite 7, had the full load of thoughtful amenities one would expect and the touches one would hope for. The mattresses and pillows were particularly comfortable. It became obvious quickly the Inn was family owned and lovingly managed. A non-exhaustive list included: Kitchenette, daily housekeeping, fluffy towels, custom toiletries, rain shower head, self refresh bottled water (coffee and tea pucks, too!), gift shop, laundry, on-site management (Steve and son Christopher), and on-property restaurants (discount cards for hotel guests). Note: Many interesting wall murals depicting Old-Florida Stuart painted by Christopher. Newer mini-split air conditioning kept the suite cool and dehumidified, while paddle fans kept the air moving. Excellent value, as we visited in August. About a three-minute walk to the river where the family offers house and cottage rentals (cottages and houses include pool access, Inn does not). Highly recommend both Stuart and The Old Colorado Inn!

The most incredible place I’ve ever stayed!
Wow… all I can say is that the Old Colorado Inn is a little slice of Old Florida paradise. Every single detail has been thoughtfully planned to make your stay unforgettable.
Our room was absolutely incredible. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, with luxurious sheets, unbelievably comfortable pillows, and even chocolates waiting on our pillows when we arrived. The cozy fireplace, comfortable living room, and dedicated workspace made it feel like a home away from home. Everywhere you looked, there was another thoughtful touch.
The owners are some of the kindest, most welcoming, and attentive people we’ve ever met. They truly go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels special.
The location couldn’t be better. Everything in downtown Stuart is within easy walking distance, and the boardwalk, just a 30-second walk across the street, ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip.
We can’t recommend the Old Colorado Inn enough. If you’re looking for charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality, this is the place. We already can’t wait to come back!

Comfortable Great Location
From start to finish (and even before we arrived!) our stay was first rate. We stayed in the Sailfish Suite and the bed was super comfortable. The room is spacious and clean and well appointed. The staff is unmatched in their warmth and hospitality. Everyone with whom we came in contact was terrific. I can't say enough good things about the Old Colorado Inn. We will definitely return.
