Looks better online. Nothing going on no campfire- no activities no access to laundry no tv. I didn’t read the fine print. Cost was at least double what it should have been. Just a room in the woods. Good place to be board if that is what you like it’s great

Great place to stay 1 mile from Dripping Springs

We secured Cedar Break at Howard Ranch as our wedding venue on 8 June 2024. We housed 42 guests between 10 cabins, the Old Bar N, and all 5 Airstreams. We held a pre-party in the Old Barn N, which accommodated all guests downstairs and on the balcony above. We reserved the Tobacco Barn for the ceremony to include a buffet-style dinner and plenty of room for dancing afterward. Due to the heat, we rented portable AC units and fans for the barn to keep the temperature down in the Texas heat. The 3-day weekend event was a success with no issues and no complaints. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all our guests, accommodations, and the wedding ceremony were perfect. Many of our guests said they want to return to Cedar Break for a personal getaway in the Texas Hill Country again. If you are looking for a wedding venue with onsite accommodations, this is hands down the place to get!

Expected a hotel. Cute cabin pics in advertising. Drove forever to get to, & it’s a camper. Not a hotel.
