Great hospitality!

This was our first visit to Tucson and we definitely chose the best place to stay! We were able to walk to many shops and restaurants which was why we chose The Blenmann. What we didn't plan on was the host, Amy, who met us at the door and basically took care of us for our two night stay! The inn itself is delightful, and so beautiful. Bed was very comfortable plus we even had a noise machine if we needed it! We were in the Sydney Marie suite and knew that the private bath would be small and it definitely was. We appreciated the fresh baked cookies and the breakfasts that Amy prepared were delicious! We highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Dear Lynn, Thank you for your 5 out of 5 bubble review on Tripadvisor! It means so very much that we were able to serve you well and that Amy took such good care of you during your first trip to the Old Pueblo! :) We couldn't be more grateful that you and our other guests chose us as there are many choices in the downtown area, and we are delighted to have met your needs with a good location, hospitality, comfort, quite and good rest, as well as delicious food! :) Thank you again and we hope to see you again soon! :) MDC

Rare & beautiful gem in the heart of Tucson

Gorgeous Victorian Inn. Picturesque and historic location in downtown Tucson! Excellent for walking, shopping, and a variety of nearby restaurants and pubs . Quick walk to the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall. Parking was easy and the staff were there to greet me upon arrival which was unexpected but so very nice . They give you a tour of this beautiful house built in 1878, which has been lovingly restored and decorated with art and portraits and furniture from the 19th century and some more modern comfortable couches in the common area. The lead skylights in the main hall are the finest quality and frankly everything else is too. The warm welcome continues throughout your stay and staff greeting you by name and ready to help with recommendations for dining out, shopping and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and fresh with healthy selections of fruit and an egg casserole that was to die for … and the croissants were every bit as tasty as the ones I had in Paris! Coffee and espresso bar at your fingertips and a complete liquor cabinet for evening cocktails. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable with soft mattresses you can sink into and feel like you’re on a cloud … nice hot water for shower or bath and thoughtful bath amenities including Crabtree & Evelyn products. I could go on and on about this wonderful gem of an Inn. Reminded me of the bed and breakfast places up in Maine or Connecticut but mixed in with some Southwestern features like the adobe walls outside. Highly recommended!

Amy catered to our every need. Even cleared our breakfast dishes. Also helped with dining recommendations. Continental breakfast was enough to eat and presented well. However got a little boring after 3 days so Amy stopped and got us donuts. Rooms were clean and the Nicole was spacious. The outdoor oasis with pool and hot tub was heaven.

All staff were really nice, especially Amy, who gave us a tour of the property at check in. Light breakfast provided was just what we needed to start our day for more exploring/hiking of nearby Saguaro National parks. The rooms are very nice and seem more old world/European. A few things to keep in mind: room we had was on the dark side with no overhead lights and high ceilings, there is no separate room control for AC and house is zoned off in sections, if you want to outdoor hot tub it will take 45-60 minutes to warm up. Otherwise, very interesting place to book that is a break from the norm and is right near many restaurants and touristy areas.
