It’s crazy how I got this hotel through this website only to find out that even trying to cancel it multiple days in advance, I would not be issued a refund and only to arrive at the hotel to find out that the hot tub and the pool was currently unavailable for use. That was the whole purpose of us choosing this hotel will not be staying again.

There was no breakfast buffet, no hot tub and no pool as advertised. I felt duped because I specifically used those filters and found this hotel. However, the staff were friendly

If you're just driving through for a night it may be fine. I recommend asking for a room that isn't joining as the walls are very thin and you can hear and smell everything from the room next door.
The room beside us waa very loud, so much so I thought people were fighting and yelling in the hallway in fron of our door but it was just the joining room. The TV volume overshadowed our TV volume. The guests next door were smoking cigarettes and Marijuana which made out room smell like both of those.
We did alert the staff to the issue and requested to move. The staff were understanding and helpful and relocated us.
The amenities were iffy as the pool was closed and unaccessible. The workout room was accessible but the key swipe was broken and the staff assisted with entry.
As I said it can do if you are just passing through. But you may encounter an issue or 2.

There was hair all over the bathroom floor, we had no power early in the morning for about an hour or so, the shower water was warm not hot at all, there was a sign that said the pool is closed until further notice. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Don't stay at The Courtyard by Marriott Waldorf Maryland
Courtyard by Marriott Waldorf MD room 320 was the worst say Oct. 2025, I had no Heat or AC .The unit when it came on burn the dust and was smoking and may have caught on fire while I was sleeping my Fox fur leather jacket had burn smelling dust on it and smelled like the smell of the heat/ac unit i call the front desk and a hour later the maintenance guy I guess came and looked at it said they been having problems with the units he don't think it could be fixed because it looked burnt up from all the dirt and dust in it and will let the front desk know and i should get another room and before that happen I extended my stay but had to check out early because I was having a bad headache and chest pains from inhaling a smoke field room that night I hung some of my clothes out side on the balcony after i cleaned and shook off the debris that was on my jacket and clothes and left my door open to get some fresh air no else came to replace or fix the unit I am off and leaving and no one else will be here until Monday the front desk person said they would discount my stay and apologize for the inconvenient stay after I checked out, also the only water to drink was from the tap so I got charged $50 for snacks and food at the front desk they charge my NFC card before I treated the front desk to to chicken from Foster Grille because she said she was hungry. My other complaints was shades and cash money I left under the mattress while I was gone when I came back from the MGM and my belongings was disturbed like someone got in my room while I was out. This is no way to treat a customer for a $270 a night room, this is why I checked out early.
