Perfect Blend of Grit and Good Vibes

Located inside The Ben hotel, I've been to Proper Grit twice recently—once for lunch with my husband in June, and again in July for the Weekend Afternoon Proper Tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday—and both experiences were wonderful. The food and drinks were tasty, the atmosphere and decor are lovely, and having valet parking available is a huge plus. A special thank you to our servers (Danielle, during our first visit, and Julian on our second) as well as the rest of the team—Gigi, Mary Jane, and Beatriz. Everyone was exceptionally courteous, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. We will definitely be back. Way to go, Proper Grit!

Great service

Love this hotel my family always enjoy to stay I visit my parent and they always happy either the service , we went to Proper Grit for breakfast , Ruth the hostess very professional smiling always , Juan the server give great service

Proper Grit, best place to grab breakfast in WPB.

Can't state enough how much I love the Proper Grit and all its staff. They're very polite and welcoming. Always a bright spot of my stays in WPB. Gigi was my waitress the last time I was there. She greeted me with a warm smile and was extremely courteous, attentive and friendly. Can't forget about the hostess, Beatrice, who sets the tone for the restaurant with her professionalism and attention to detail.

Wonderful views, amazing service

Everything from the front desk check-in and ongoing service each day, to my treatment at their breakfast restaurant, to the excellent service I received at dinner time at their rooftop restaurant was impeccable.
I'm particular, servers Gigi and Juan went out of their way to make me feel wonderful. Ruth, the Host, made me feel welcome each morning.
I'm the evenings each server took excellent care of me.
Overall it was a wonderful experience at a beautiful hotel in the water.
