Enjoyable stay would visit again
It was an enjoyable stay. The area is nice and close to the river. Staff is friendly. Only thing I wish they had daily house keeping and a bit more clean on the dusting as tv was very dusty. The rest was clean. The bed needs improvement though. The mattress was good, hated the pillows but the bed frame felt cheap and like it could break easily. The room was so cold so ac worked good. We stayed in one of the Green Acres cabins. Think tiny home, it was cute and cozy. Downtown was very close for some.food n drinks, we also tried JP's BBQ close by, burgers were good. Nothing fancy but good especially if you dont feel like being in the downtown crowd.

Cabin 5 is moldy.
We booked 2 nights, but we only stayed 1, since our cabin (#5) was moldy with little ventilation. Water damage had been painted over. Expect this cabin had flooded in the past but not properly remediated. We did receive our money back, aside from the cleaning fee. Strongly advise anyone susceptible to mold stays very far away from Cabin 5. Also, the train was not running, which was disappointing. For the high price, I expect there are many better options to stay in the area.

Disappointed River Trip
I thought Wimberly shops were cute and provided charm to the town and our family enjoyed some time walking around shopping and eating. The 7a ranch seemed much different than it advertised on the website. The train didn't even work as advertised and the ranch could use some landscaping charm. The Oak house was nice and comfortable with a few needed repairs like living room ceiling fan broken, the stove needs to be replaced as only the right side burners worked and the top oven over cooked our food. The piano is totally out of tune but it's mostly for show. The deers came up to get feed which was a hit for the kids and we enjoyed seeing the stars. The house wasn't walking distance to the river at all.
We were sadly disappointed in the river and had to find a different river to enjoy during our trip there. The river is very low in this location and you don't even allow for a section to be used to load or unload your vehicles. We enjoyed the pool but the bar was closed to us because we went during the week I guess it's only for weekend visitors. We would not recommend this location if you are seeking a good river trip vacation.

No nearby restroom, overpriced and rundown.
Arrived ready to explore Pioneer Town. I am in a boot and chair for a broken foot and inquired about a restroom and was told they were “out of order”. The service desk attendant pointed down the road and said d the nearest one was down there. When I asked if there was a flat trail where I could be wheeled down the road he said he didn’t know. At this point we left my DIL with 2 toddlers in their lobby to drive to a restroom. Half of the arcade games (which cost money) did not work and she bought 2 cheap toys which would have cost a dollar elsewhere totaling 22 dollars. After my son wheeled me out the door of the lobby the “out of order”bathroom suddenly became functional but it was too hard to fight wheeling me back in! This place gets a ZERO for customer service and ADA compliance not to mention it is overpriced and run down!

Memorial Day get away!
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was exactly as expected, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our time relaxing on the large covered porch whenever we weren’t in the water. I brought a fan for the porch, which definitely helped keep things cooler and the bugs away. The only minor downside was that there weren’t quite enough outlets for the fan and charging extra phones and the patio chairs were not comfortable. The location to the water was fantastic! We were glad to bring our dog, Fifi who probably had a better time than all of us! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back when we have the chance.
