I travel very often. Rarely have I encountered a place where everyone I interacted with was so pleasant. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. My room was clean m, bright and spacious.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Registan and several other monuments.
I want to especially thank Mamur for all of his help. He. Helped me obtain a SIM card for my phone and set-up YANDEX…the local version of Uber. This made the rest of my journey in Uzbekistan so easy.

Central and clean hotel with hard beds

The hotel is very central, between the Emir's mausoleum and two steps from the famous Registan Square.It is a Hotel with the typical architecture of the area and not too large only has one floor but with two wings. The rooms are quite correct size, throwing large with wardrobe, flat screen TV (no Spanish channels) desk and a small fridge. Carpet on the floor. The bathroom is right sized with a large shower with a small step for access. There are amenities, bathrobes and slippers.
Everything is clean and new. Bed linen and towels smell good.
But the beds, in our opinion, are very hard, very hard like pillows. We slept rough, really. Awkward. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel
Another downside is breakfast: bad. A coffee machine like the one in a house, lines and spoiled every 2 coffees. There are those who have given up taking it. Little variety and past fruit. Recommendation: do not eat breakfast here
Centrally located hotel option but regular rest quality.

The location was amazing and makes it worth it. The hotel itself is older and ok. The air conditioner works great which is super important in the summer. The location is as good as it gets for the hotel

Mixed assessment

The view from the room was downright 'sad'.
We were looking at a neglected and unmaintained rear building: this does not make you happy.
The parking lot had had its best time.
The beds were hard.
The service was okay and the breakfast was extensive.

The hotel was immaculate, 100% would stay again! A grand building with beautiful painting in the lobby, and huge array of food for breakfast, and clean rooms. Also had a sauna and pool included in our stay for free which was lovely. Also the location is ideal for walking everywhere to all the famous monuments. The BEST thing was the hotel staff at front desk they went out of the way to make us feel welcomed, and the staff are credit to the hotel. As I had my birthday there they got me a painting as I showed interested in their painting in the lobby. Such a beautiful stay, thank you so much!
