11 Glorious days at South Pacific Memories

We spent 11 wonderful days at South Pacific Memories this past July. I can't say enough good things about this resort, it would take all day to write.
The resort is very unique, only 4 bungalows and 8 guests at a time. The resort is situated approx. 7-8 km from of the city of Port Vila. The town can be reached by rental car if you have one or by taking the 1.5km walk to the bus stop.
Anne and Petter (the owners) are on site all the time to look after your needs. Anne is the head chef, and Petter looks after the diving (Gone Diving PADI 5*). The staff are great.
The bungalows are approx. 600sm in size, huge bedroom and sitting and a very large bathroom. A full width patio on the front facing the water and a full size roof top deck that has a shaded area as well as a sunny tanning area.
The food was excellent, all prepared by Anne and her great staff. From breakfast to dinner (a 4 course meal) everything was superb. They even prepared a "take along" breakfast for us as our dive boat would pick us up at 7:30am.
Thank you again Anne, Petter and staff for this being one of the best stays in all of our years of travel.

Disappointing Lack of Flexibility

We booked our honeymoon through Booking.com, where the only rate available was non-refundable. We accepted those terms. However, after the official dengue outbreak in South Efate, we asked if we could simply change our dates within the same trip and even offered to pay any administration fee or rate difference.
Every request was refused. While we understood the booking conditions, we believe these exceptional circumstances warranted a simple date change. Instead, the property kept our full payment without any flexibility. We found the property owners’ lack of compassion and customer care extremely disappointing and would not recommend staying here.

The whole team were so welcoming and helpful. Petter and Anna are lovely and accommodate any needs. Shout out to the dive team as well who showed me the house reef. The whole experience was more like a holiday with friends or family than what you get at a big resort. Meals and cocktails were amazing and all are made with passion. Loved my time there thank you all. Evan

A peaceful getaway

A beautiful peaceful places to relax and restore. A little off the beaten track but transport into Port Vila can be arranged. Diving and snorkeling available.
Restaurant offering complimentary breakfast and lunch and dinner choices.
Amazing friendly attentive staff.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
Small pool overlooking the water.
