Excellent place close to the beach

Great location and only minutes away from the beach. Bed super comfy.
We had apartment on floor 6. Has sofa, dining area, kitchen and even a washing machine.
Breakfast was lovely - not buffet, you order the night before. Will stay again.

Amazing stay at the Pergola Hotel!

We had an amazing experience at the Pergola hotel in Da Nang! The rooms were amazing and clean, with daily top ups on towels and water. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Tiffany, who supported us throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome! There was also lots of help booking taxi services to local attractions, such as Ba Na Hills, which was very useful!

Nice hotel! 10/10 for your price! The service is top level!

They flew to Da Nang with a family of five: two adults and three children. The hotel was searched through booking. Chose this hotel purely on the basis of reviews. Cleanliness and close proximity to the beach was the top priority. We arrived early, the girl at reception kindly allowed us to leave our things at the hotel while it was check-in time. We've been moved into a room with two and a half beds. Basically, there was room. The room is clean, odorless and stainless on the bed. The bathroom is clean, too. Very good internet speed and air conditioning worked perfectly. There's no name calling.
Breakfast was included, every day a girl texted me on WhatsApp and specified what we would eat for breakfast, but since we don't eat pork for us the choice was limited, but still it was OK: cheese and egg sandwiches, pancakes or eggs to choose from. Every day they gave hot milk, some days yogurt and fruit, some days just fruit (bananas). The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and caring. The girls and the man working there are just cute.
I would like to mention in particular the beautiful Qinn at the reception, which has always complied with our requests and wishes, always been caring and welcoming. Her partner Micasa is also a nice girl, in general a separate thank you to the hotel management for such workers. Everyone is very professional. It's an attitude you always want to come back to again and again.
I don't understand the negative feedback here, I'm fine with it.
Out of the inconvenience was only repairing the road near the entrance, but it is not the hotel's fault and has nothing to do with their work.

Dirty and dilapidated

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were dirty with corners not having been cleaned for months or even years. The floor was sticky with grime. The furniture was covered in dust and partly falling apart. The shower was moldy and limescale everywhere. Ants were in my room on the third floor. The towels and bedsheets were stained and smelled horrible. When the cleaning ladies came in, I don't know what they did, but they didn't fill up the empty toilet paper. The TV wasn't working at all. There are no safes in the rooms. I paid extra for a room with a courtyard view but the window was tiny and there was no view on the courtyard. When I told the receptionist that the room was dirty, her only reaction was to pressure me into writing a 10 star review on Agoda.
