Great Cooking Class

We were visiting a local market, buying ingredients for dinner and prepared it at the GA Hostel. It was at the cosy small kitchen right at the reception area, where we also had dinner. The owner was really nice and she encouraged us to ask whatever question we had about viewe talked a lot about food and vietnam

I made a great choice choosing this tour agency!

I booked a tour to Nin Bimh and everything was very smooth and convenient! Chili who made the tour for me was very accommodating. She's very attentive in updating every details for you. There was a little change in the tour for me (one destination was closed due to the COVID thing going) and Chili updated me immediately about this. I felt I was treated with an utmost importance. I am really happy with my choice booking a tour with them. I will definitely choose this tour again when I'm back in Hanoi.

TERRIFIC TRAVEL TOUR AGENCY VIA HANOI - CHILI IS A FIVE STAR GUIDE

My friend Kathleen Evans had booked tours through Chili of GA Hostel and Tours, so I was glad I had her contact info. She had helped me to book a tour to Cat Ba Island/Lan Ha Bay and because of the unpredictability of the COVID-19 situation and constant updates, the authorities had closed off Cat Ba Island before I could make the trip..and Chili was quick to respond to this and asked if I wanted to rebook to go to Ha Long Bay instead with Sunlight Cruise and I was glad she was on the ball...in fact I was lucky to be one of the groups who got to do the cruise before they closed off Ha Long Bay too for an indefinite amount of time.
She had also booked for me the Ninh Binh tour which included Mua Cave ("the Great Wall of China of Vietnam") and Tam Coc and due to the COVID-19 updates, Tam Coc was closed so she told us we could go to Trang An instead - she was really super helpful in giving me and my friends any updates or changes during this unpredictable climate. She was also super helpful in checking for me about another friend who wanted to go to Ninh Binh the following day (she goes above and beyond and found out it was not a good idea for the following day due to many parts of Ninh Binh closing for spraying) - I cannot recommend her enough. We were really pleased with the quality of the tours as well. Definitely got our money's worth besides being super lucky to have been able to experience them.

Wonderful Travel Agency!

I came to Hanoi as my first stop on a one month solo trip to Vietnam. I stayed at an AirBNB that recommended Ga Hostel to help me book some tours.
I was a bit skeptical but I shouldn’t have been! Chili and her team went above and beyond in every possible way. They didn’t push anything on me but worked super hard to help me decide what I might like based on my timing and needs. They recommended food and attractions in Hanoi. And when they found out it was my birthday they even invited me to one of their cooking classes for free to celebrate.
I booked two tours with them (Lan Ha Bay and Ninh Bình) and Chili checked in with me regularly well after I left to make sure I was happy with everything. When something didn’t work (my stay one night, or a missed travel connection), Chili was always available to help smooth it over.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. They did so much to make my landing in Vietnam as soft and pleasant as possible.

Tours and travel advice from Chili

Chili’s details were given to me by my Airbnb host in Hanoi, as I needed help planning tour trips to Halong Bay and Cat Ba island. Chili was wonderfully helpful in organising tours in Halong Bay, car transfers and general advice. Even when we changed our minds at the last minute about returning early to Hanoi, Chili was incredibly flexible in helping us rearrange all our plans. Anytime my partner and I needed help with little things like should we carry cards or cash in Vietnam or where to we buy SIM cards etc, we turned to Chili to seek her advice. She made our trip in Halong Bay and Hanoi incredibly enjoyable. She was even kind enough to invite us to a NYE dinner at her hostel with her guests and friends. Over a delicious dinner, Chili spoke about life in Vietnam and offered further advice about our trip. I can’t recommend seeking Chili’s guidance enough, because she is as kind as she is helpful.
