Relaxing Diamond bay retreat with stellar staff
My Diamond Bay retreat was wonderfully restful. The front desk team stood out with their cheerful, lightning-fast assistance from arrival to departure, ensuring I felt completely pampered. My spacious, spotless room featured elegant decor and a stunning outlook. Their warm hospitality truly made this trip unforgettable!

Suitable upgrade, great staff, and convenient supermarket
A big thank you to the hotel team for the room upgrade tailored to us and for preparing the beds. The luggage and cleaning staff were extremely warm and dedicated. In addition, the supermarket in the large shopping center is enormously practical.

Honest 3 Stars
Unfortunately, the 5 stars hotel does not match. By comparison, vacationed in Camrani at Radisson - that's a whole other level. Daimond is quite a troika, but no more.
From the pluses:
good location. Nice beach across the street. The building itself has a supermarket. Near the big Lotte Mall - there is a supermarket, a barter, ready meals.
- spacious rooms. We took with balcony, alas, partial sea view - opposite (windows out) Hotel Saigon. By the way, the main photo of the hotel is old, now several more tall hotels have grown near it.
normal breakfasts. Not on Five Stars, but we ate - meat, pho soup, eggs. The fish have never seen it.
- give discounts on sun loungers on the beach. The coupon price is 100 thousand dong, so one costs 200 thousand.
Of the disadvantages:
staff. You don't get greeted at all at the front desk and don't get immediate attention when you come up. No smiling or helpfulness. Getting information is a real problem, English is poor, communicates through an interpreter. The deckchairs on the beach were found out on the 4th day, although asked at check-in and we were told that there is nothing you want now the season is all sorted out, you need to come very early (we were around 11am). When the TV broke, they fixed it for 3 days (and 3 days we went to remind them).
cleaning. It takes a couple of minutes, sand is constantly on the floor (as it was when we arrived), the balcony was removed once in a week. The bed is made once. The staff fly into the room with a ruckus and a yell.
elevators. There's only three for a 19-story hotel. And it's not even the gym on the fourth floor. It's hard to leave for breakfast in the morning, the elevator upstairs comes already packed. Once stood for 10 minutes. There are stairs, but the condition is terrible.
- swimming pool is public (like gym), it can be used by anyone from the street. No umbrellas, it's uncomfortable during the day, it's very hot. Although the pools themselves look good.
- many tourists from China, consider that it can be noisy, and from the beach to the elevator they can come wet in bathing clothes.
- all basic life is about 20 minutes from the hotel. There's not a lot of restaurants around.
On the whole, we're happy with the vacation - we're lucky with the weather. And the hotel's main problem is the staff. We didn't feel the comfort of five stars.
