Service worse than its 3 - star grade

1. Dirty blanket provided 2 days in a row. Changed after request.
2. Lost socks by the hotel cleaner while they changed the 2nd dirty blanket. Received my socks back 1hour after escalation.
3. Dark room, not enough light from lamps or sunshine for working or reading.
4. Dangerous rooftop pool, no pool edge or pool coping in 3 sides for swimmer to hold, especially at the end of the pool where the depth reached 1m9. No safety guard around.
5. Transfer Guest ID card to tour guide before I check out of the hotel. The tour left at 7AM, I registered to stay at the hotel until 12PM but my ID card has been gone without me.

Balcony was internal looking into other guest rooms. Room above breakfast area and very noisy. Very loud foreign guests. Not happy. Had to pay extra to get outside balcony and quieter area of hotel. Breakfast dishes were cold. Cold bacon? Sorry. Would not recommend this hotel to our friends.

The hotel front desk staff were wonderful and so helpful. The location is great, walking distance to so many good restaurants, and to many interest spots if you can walk 5 km in the heat. The beach was 1 1/2 blocks away and was beautiful the first couple days, then was absolutely covered with garbage from the ocean the last couple days of our stay so we avoided the beach. So sad! Breakfast was great for the Asians but our choice was eggs and two types of fruit and buns. Kind of boring for Westeners. They really need to hire a new cleaning crew as every part of this beautiful hotel needs a good cleaning. It was pretty noisy as well. Could hear every door slam in the building.

Disappointing return

Unhelpful, unfriendly staff, two broken lights taken away and never replaced despite reminders, shower suitable for very short person who doesn't mind being scalded then frozen in waves, tried to stop us leaving when they 'found' a stained towel supposedly in our bathroom. Very sad after a good experience 3 years ago. Don't bother!!
