Excellent, would recommend
We stayed here for one night after finding cockroaches in our previous hotel.
The cleanliness, views, facilities, location and staff at this hotel are fantastic. You will not go wrong by booking this hotel.
It's also very reasonably priced.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Sapa Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and outstanding hospitality. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful views. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste.
Thank you to the entire Bamboo Sapa Hotel team for making our family trip so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

Hotel good, service just hit the wrong
The hotel is great, nice location, nice rooms. Only the popular looking gentleman with his gold rings who did our check inn, did very annoying when we wanted to book a night later in the day because we thought it was top. He indicated that he would cancel the booking.com booking because the family room would not be free the next day. We should take two separate rooms, but in the meantime pressed the booking.com button. Sir immediately clicked and looked into the system and was not approachable for a moment. Unfortunately walked around all day with the feeling that the overnight stay would not be okay. The next day with another person, the extra day turned out to be no problem and was fine. So it depends on who you talk to and who is in a good mood.

Bamboo Sapa is at best a 3 star hotel. The room was fine however had just one chair inside. We had a balcony which was lovely but no seating to admire the view...so had to sit on ground. Bed was comfortable. The photos of the pool are deceiving.. not as big as depicted but very clean. However, only accommodated 3 couples for lounging as only had 3 large double lounges and no sun umbrellas.
The hotel gave us a complimentary drink for the bar which we failed to use as no staff were manning the bar until after 4pm!
A very busy and extremely loud space in the lobby and staff ovrwhelmed. Occasionally loud noise from other guests just outside room...
Tired looking carpet and walls and furniture which are all screaming for an update. Upon arrival our room had a distinct disinfectant smell that I eventually became accustomed to...
Breakfast buffet was simple and basic with some food items questionable. Overall ok.
The hotel gave us a complimentary drink for the bar which we failed to use as no staff were manning the bar until after 4pm!

Worst and unsafest experience ever
Do not trust this hotel with the safety of your family.
During our stay, my 16-year-old daughter was harassed in her hotel room by an intoxicated male guest who refused to leave despite her repeated requests, lay down on her bed, and gestured for her to join him. She had to physically push him out herself. CCTV footage, reviewed and confirmed by hotel staff, shows him in her room for roughly 2 minutes.
The hotel’s response was worse than the incident itself. The manager on duty laughed off our report, insisted on hearing “the man’s side of the story,” and proposed a meeting between our family and the man. We refused. As compensation, the hotel offered a spa treatment.
The manager was personally present when the perpetrator’s employer verbally agreed, on a recording, to cover our accommodation costs. The hotel has since denied this agreement and demanded we pay our outstanding balance, despite everything above.
We cancelled our final night and moved elsewhere because we no longer felt safe. If you are travelling with a minor, choose a different hotel.
