Excellent botique lodge near the airport

We were very impressed with this small property near the Lusaka airport. Safe, convenient, pretty grounds, excellent restaurant on-site. (The best dinner we had in 12 days in Zambia). Convenient transfer to/from airport, (although the last mile is a long, rough dirt road). Room was large and comforttable. Staff was very accomodating.

Perfect Oasis in Lusaka

The Wild Dogs Lodge is a gem. It is the perfect oasis when traveling through Lusaka. It is easy to forget that you pulled in off of a dirt road in to the hotel. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are comfortable, and pool is lovely. Staff is very friendly. While the food at the restaurant was pretty good, it is a bit overpriced and has a small menu. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Great stop over place

A lovely, quiet lodge not too far from the airport. The transfers to and from the airport were great and went very smoothly. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything that you need, including being given a hot water bottle! The grounds are lovely with seating and loungers round the pool and a good selection of food in the restaurant. Staff all lovely and very helpful.

Everything was very nice. The pool is excellent and ideal for proper swimming as about 20 metres long!! The lodges are lovely and clean. The food was good too. The whole site is very tidy and pretty. The only reason we haven’t given 5 stars is there was a fair amount of noise overnight during our stay. There are a lot of dogs barking on and off during the night which woke us several times which was a shame. They are on neighbouring land so not much the owners can do I guess.

We loved the setting! Each room was a small bungalow of its own. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was plenty of seating in the room and it had a nice bathroom with hot shower. The food was delicious and the chef and wait staff were very friendly and personable. I would go back there and stay again anytime!
