Very delicious food

We cannot rate the accommodation but only the restaurant. We chose typical food. Especially the tris of three different dumplings I ordered many times during the trip somewhere else, but at the Hotel zur Post the dumplings were the best. There must be someone in the kitchen who's not afraid of herbs. Very good!

Well,

We arrived there at noon, the waiter was friendly, and we checked in... the room was small, worn out, and noisy. We were just passing through... the restaurant was okay... the bed was unfortunately sagging and the slatted frame was broken... if you like, go ahead...

Bad!

Worn hotel in brothel style. Very tastelessly decorated. No breakfast. Urgently in need of renovation. Noisy street on one side of the house, sinking dung heap on the other. Light in the toilet didn't work either.

Drive really fast, unless you get a kick out of the bodily fluids of the person in front of you

Driving past this 'hotel' very quickly. Unless you get a kick out of lying in the bodily fluids of your predecessors and enjoy corporal punishment.
Downright dirty room, very outdated, with bad mattresses. Thick white stains in the carpet and even stains in the pillows. As for the corporal punishment: The springs stick out of the sore and dirty mattresses. Very hot in the summer, rooms have no air conditioning. While it is certainly not a cheap overnight stay. You also lie in bed at an angle, because the floors are sagging so much due to subsidence that they have pushed bobbins under cupboards.
The breakfast is also very poor, especially for the 21 euros per person that you pay for it. In the Netherlands they would not put an asylum seeker in here, and rightly so. We booked as a stopover on the way to Italy, but afterwards we would have preferred to drive on for a few hours.
It certainly didn't require a luxurious overnight stay, but you can expect a good night's sleep and a clean stay. For catering establishments such as Zur Post, bankruptcy would be a good thing.
It is also special that you can only pay the tourist tax, which you have to pay on site, in cash.

Never again....

I have never had such a bad night as this one. Are the rooms even cleaned? The room smelled of urine and smoke. The mold in the room is impossible, there are even two large molds growing on the radiator. Because the room was in such a state, we even skipped breakfast. We ate it at a local bakery.
The room price of €160 is outrageous for this unacceptable room. Really, someone should get rid of this accommodation.
