Central location and convenient to transport, cozy and tastefully decorated apartment has everything you need for a great stay in the heart of Rome.

15 minutes from everything but the Vatican
Spacious two-bedroom apartment with two double beds if you take the one-bedroom apartment the dining room sofa bed is like a single bed, a lot of ambulance noise because there is a hospital nearby, a little annoying, entrance to the narrow portal can only access one person at a time if you carry a large suitcase it is difficult to get in, you climb many stairs, the one-bedroom apartment has microwave double no, we went to the one-bedroom apartment but the air conditioning did not work so the next day we passed to the two-bedroom apartment which if it had good air conditioning, expensive price 625 euros for 3 nights including the overnight stay fee

Mixed feelings about this place
The positives: Location-wise the property is in a fantastic location - this is by far the best feature of the property. Right in the heart of Rome and so close to key attractions, restaurants and supermarket, pharmacy etc and very walkable to most stuff. A secondary set of windows has been installed to try and block out the constant sirens from passing emergency vehicles - without this we would not have been able to sleep at all. The apartment was clean and generally contained most facilities required for a stay of several days.
The negatives: Booked via Booking.com. Messages to property well ahead of time went unanswered including queries on how to access the property with our late arrival flight into Rome, and there was otherwise zero communication. I had to make an international call to the property on the day of arrival to chase up information and ensure we were even going to be able to get in upon arrival. There was also no indication on the booking site that the apartment was located up a steep set of stairs that was very difficult to drag heavy suitcases up. The bathroom sink and shower tended to back up a lot, but not sure if this is a general Rome plumbing issue or just this apartment. While there was a coffee machine, there is no kettle. I was travelling with my adult daughter and the pullout sofa bed mattress was covered with what appeared to be the original plastic bag covering. There was no bedding provided for this as such and we just made up a makeshift bedding out of spare bedcover and pillows that were stored in a wardrobe, and luckily she was travelling with her own blanket. Lastly, there is no soundproofing from the adjacent apartment, and we got to 'enjoy' the neighbors coming and going and their kids running around yahooing as kids do.

My sister and I really liked the apartment, the apartment is super close to everything and the host is very friendly. The apartment is really nice, also we would come back for sure! Thanks a lot for everything.
