A place to stay while in Rome

Visited this hotel between March 31st and April 6th. Very enjoyed my stay there. Great breakfast every morning, Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, fridge in the room, 5 minutes from the subway and 10 minutes from Vatican. The hotel workers was super friendly and always tried to help me in any situations. Definitely would like to recommend Rome & Suites to everybody traveling to Rome.

An unpretentious, well located B&B

I stayed in this B&B for one night and I recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Rome by underground, because the metro A station Cipro is not too far away, once you learn to navigate the area.
The "Mirtilla" room, which has an en suite bathroom, is quite small but fine, as it has everything you need, including a small refrigerator (that I didn't manage to turn on) and a TV set. The room and bathroom were well decorated and the shower worked fine.
The only negative side was the noise from the adjoining rooms and from the rest of the building (being on the 4th floor you can hear the elevator going up and down all the time). You can find supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Pretty room but not Functional. A Generous Three Stars.

Stayed for three nights in April.
Air Conditioning worked well and building security was good.
At first glance, the room met my needs, but I soon discovered several issues that made me regret my reservation.
The room was tiny. I usually need very little space so this was not a problem at all.
The hotel needs to Soundproof the rooms.
Noise from adjoining rooms and check-in desk was as if the walls didn't even exist. Even quiet conversations, television or bodily noises were loud and distracting. Earplugs were necessary for sleep. --Big BIG problem.
Light Fixture on the wall was loose. Not a Big problem.
Toilet seat was very loose and slid all over; A simple repair and surprisingly unnoticed by hotel staff. --BIG BIG PROBLEM.
On an informational note, the housekeeping staff of this B & B does not change the sheets during your stay. They remake the bed but do not put fresh sheets on the bed. --Also there is no mattress pad or cover between the thin sheet and the mattress surface.
--Not a big problem.
Small cooler/refrigerator in the room did not work although plugged in to a functioning outlet. It's only function was as a table. I would have used it as a cooler if it had worked.
Not a HUGE problem but a disappointment.
Shower was much too small. As a 180 pound man, I could hardly squeeze into it. Shower also needs some type of shelf or tray for holding soap or shampoo. If either were dropped to the floor, bending over to pick them up was not an option whatsoever: impossible.
Very difficult to find the B & B. Without Google Maps and Maps.Me and asking several nearby businesses, I never would have found it. Specific Directions need to be given in every registration confirmation: not just the street address but something like, "behind the gate on the right, prior to the Sushi Ristorante.

Not so lucky choise

It isn't so lucky choise, first of all when we come we must wait one hour to make check in and there was also problem to communicate while the woman didn't speak english and actully speaks just italish. Room was okay, nothing special, but for first sight was clean. Bathroom was also fine, but in there shower was just cold water. So that' s it. It's your choise.

Friendly Place To Stay

Very confusing when arriving at first as signage isn't very clear - something which could be improved on. The room was spotless and spacious with a good balcony area from which you could see the Dome of the Basilica. Breakfast was a bit limited on the first morning but improved throughout the break. Maurizio was very friendly and extremely helpful in allowing us to use the room after the check out period and organising a taxi for us. It's only a 10 min walk to the Vatican and we would definitely return on another occasion. Thank you for making our weekend break even more special!.
