Beautiful room and welcome.

Our host, who's apartment you are effectively staying in, was wonderfully welcoming and very helpful.
We had our own room, lounge area (which had been made up into another double bed) and nicely appointed bathroom.
We stayed for 3 nights over Easter.
The breakfast is provided by a nearby cafe and includes a croissant or sandwich and a coffee.
The B&B is well placed for cafes and restaurants and is about a 20/25 minute walk from the Colosseum.
There were no toiletries provided other than hand soap but we had plenty of towels and a hairdryer (I was very happy about that!)
If I return to Rome I would definitely stay here again.

Great find!

Only stayed for 3 nights last summer. Flaminia is a sweetheart, the place is implacably clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms was immense for Rome, location for me was ideal, Trastevere is the heart of Rome.

Beautiful Room

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by Danieli (Flaminia's husband) who gave me an organized rundown on the building and the particulars. I was immediately impressed with the size of my accommodation and the cleanliness of the property.
I only stayed for one night but spent considerable time in my room as it was near the end of my trip to Italy, I had travelled all day on trains and bus to get there and it was very hot outside. The shower was great along with the awesome air conditioned room. Both the room and bathroom were huge. The decor was lovely, great TV with tons of channels, good linens that smelled nice and the wood floor was so clean it squeaked.
The proprietors are very laid back yet quite accommodating. I liked the non-invasive and private nature of the set-up. I totally felt like a local living in a trendy part of town. I love Trastevere and the local vibe in the area. Transportation was very convenient as were restaurants and everything else.
I was equally pleased by the fact that I didn't have to worry about arranging transportation to the airport upon my departure early in the morning. Flaminia arranged for a driver who arrived 10 minutes before in a nice air conditioned MB sedan and who was very professional. I checked and the cost was comparable to a taxi.
Overall, it is a VERY good value. I've stayed at many others in Rome for the same price or more that were just ok and I will forget those and definitely come back here next year.

Nice rooms and very good location

We stayed a night only, and the services ware very good. Flaminia was very helpful and she arranged our late check in. It is clean and convenient. The B&B is close to the Roman Forum, Coliseum and many other tourists. These are within 20-30 minute walk.

Good rooms and location but service could be improved

We had a good stay at BB When in Rome. The building is located in Trastevere, a trendy neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants, and easy access to public transport (Bus, tram, train). The home decor is quite ... interesting/funny. Some kind of cheap rococo/baroque style. We had a quadruple room, which was spacious, clean and with good bedding.
The only real issue is that the owner was not very available for us. It took us a lot of back and forth discussion to agree on a check-in time, and in the end she only spent 3 minutes with us, rushing through the list of information she had to give us. Check-out was not easier, as we were not able to leave our baggage in the apartment beyond 1pm. Breakfast was just average (1 bottled juice, 1 coffee, 1 croissant), and provided by the restaurant in front of the house.
In the end, it is clean, convenient and rooms are nice, but service could be much better.

Gentile Marie,
Grazie a presto Flaminia
